Plainfield Rotary’s Ducks 4 Bucks
Ducks for Bucks
These photos are from Plainfield Rotary’s Ducks 4 Bucks race. For the weeks leading up to Plainfield Fest, people can “adopt” a rubber duck. On the day of the event (July 21st), thousands of ducks are dropped into the Dupage River through a chute system.
The ducks are collected further down the river. The first 13 ducks across the finish line and the last unlucky duck win prizes. The money raised goes to fund Plainfield Rotary’s scholarship fund, among other charities. Linda and Rich are proud members of the Rotary Club and 59 Auto Repair is a Duck adoption center in June and July for the event. The website is Ducks4Bucks.com.
