When local charities ask us for donations, we hand paint buckets to match the theme of their event and fill it with car care products. These can then be raffled or auctioned off at their events. The most recent was for the 10th annual Disabled Veterans Golf Benefit held at the Links at Carillon in Plainfield. They help raise funds for Disabled Veterans. Ducks for Bucks These photos are from Plainfield Rotary’s Ducks 4 Bucks race. For the weeks leading up to Plainfield Fest, people can “adopt” a rubber duck. On the day of the event (July 21st), thousands of ducks are dropped into the Dupage River through a chute system. The ducks are collected further down the river. The first 13 ducks across the finish line and the last unlucky duck win prizes. The money raised goes to fund Plainfield Rotary’s scholarship fund, among other charities. Linda a
